Fenner Dunlop is looking for an enthusiastic National Accounts Sales Manager to join our Sales team.

Fenner Dunlop designs and manufactures the widest range of bulk material handling conveyor belts in the world. We strive to be the premier provider of the safest and most reliable conveyor belting and services to a variety of heavy industrial markets such as coal mining, hard rock mining, sand, gravel, wood handling, power generation, pulp and paper. Fenner Dunlop provides North American made belting, manufactured at our facilities located throughout the United States and Canada. For over 150 years, Fenner Dunlop has researched, designed, developed, manufactured, and tested its conveyor belting products, supporting nearly any type of conveyor application, and providing the right solutions to protect conveyor system investments in the harshest conveying environments.

The National Accounts Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting, promoting and selling Fenner Dunlop belting products to new and existing National/Multi-Regional Accounts. Responsibilities include new business development / contract negotiations, managing current contracts and renewals, engagement with regional account manager(s) along with inside sales personnel. This position reports to the EVP International Sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and foster favorable relationships with new and existing National Accounts/Multi Regional Account customers with the goal of increasing revenue and margin.
  • Responsible for sales targets of national accounts, OEM accounts, including the acquisition/renewal of national and OEM accounts.
  • Must be confident and comfortable performing high level executive negotiations, both internally and externally.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations by ensuring that belting products and services consistently meet customer needs and by resolving problems and issues.
  • Maintain acceptable margins on products and services provided to customers.
  • Determine annual sales budgets for National/Multi-Regional Accounts by analyzing customer potential and predicting attainable goals.
  • Spearheads/supports development of response to National Accounts contracts, RFPs and large pricing requests
  • Compile reports to document value-add/savings on a regular basis for key accounts (external)
  • Participate in various networking opportunities, including local trade associations to increase company visibility and develop new relationships.
  • Deliver sales presentations to new and existing National Contract customers and targets
  • Develop and maintains relationships with territory sales teams, manufacturing, operations and management to integrate sales and service opportunities to achieve business objectives.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in selling/marketing engineered/industrial products to large end users/national accounts, preferably in the power transmission and/or bulk material handling industry.
  • Organized and able to collect and analyze performance metrics.
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
  • Able to work in a Hybrid/Remote Work Setting
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time
